The 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler are going to be here sooner than you expect. With winter just around the corner, the good people of British Columbia are starting to buzz over the excitement of having their city become centre stage. The world will be watching come February, and the athletes will be ready to put on spectacular performances in their grand winter sporting events.
Some of the fastest sports in the world will be featured, and the events will be over in minutes if not seconds! The bobsledding events, the luge, and all of the skiing events will thrill and excite even the most casual visitor to Whistler mountain, where ski holidays are certainly nothing new, forgiving this ultra-special event.
Canada will certainly have something to be proud of when they put on this
world-class event. The 2010 Winter Olympics only happen once, and if you have any interest in viewing the world's greatest winter sports events, it's time to shake the snow off your boots, and get your family prepared to travel to Canada's premier winter wonderland, Whistler Canada, as you're only going to have this one chance to experience a magical sport spectacular!
There's going to be many great skating events happening in Vancouver as well, but for some, the Alpine events are what the heart of the Winter Olympics are all about. But don't let me pursuade you, choose for yourself. But hurry, 2010 is a handful of days away, and you'll regret missing your opportunity to stand on the slopes and watch the fastest humans on skis blaze down the brilliant Whistler runs. |
